Nuchal Translucency Working Group Opportunity

Here is an important opportunity regarding the Prenatal Screening Program.

The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) has recently invested in a new Prenatal Screening Program (PSP) for Ontario, as part of the Better Outcomes Registry and Network (BORN) Ontario.  The PSP is initiating a working group to guide the development and implementation of a nuchal translucency (NT) quality assurance (QA) program.  We are seeking participation from members of the ultrasound, radiology and fetal medicine communities as well as individuals with experience in QA.  This is a great opportunity to:

  • Work alongside other healthcare professionals with a diverse range of backgrounds
  •  Share your knowledge and experience and contribute to Ontario’s health care system
  • Participate in several meetings per year (in person or by teleconference)

    • Note: Costs associated with attending in-person meetings (travel & parking) will be covered.

For more information about the NTQA Working Group please see the attached NTQA Membership Form and  Draft Terms of Reference, or contact the PSP at 1 (833) 351-6490 or
To apply to participate in the NTQA Working Group please complete the attached application form and return with required documentation to no later than July 16, 2018.
