Dr. Siddiqui is a Pediatric Cardiologist specializing in the development of non-invasive cardiac imaging techniques at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. For her presentation, Dr. Siddiqui will give a practical guide to pediatric cardiac CT. Her focus will be on reviewing pediatric-specific challenges and considerations when performing cardiac CT and discussing how to minimize radiation exposure while optimizing imaging in children. Throughout the presentation, Dr. Siddiqui will provide examples of pediatric-specific cardiac CT protocols.

Jeff Frimeth is President and Chief Medical Physicist of JF Medical Physics. He is a Diagnostic Radiological Medical Physicist specializing in working with facilities in establishing, maintaining and improving image quality and radiation safety. In his presentation, Jeff will provide a general overview of the DICOM standard such as why it was created and a typical workflow scheme in a Diagnostic Imaging department. He will also explain how DICOM can be used for troubleshooting and radiation dose issues.
